Our area is named after the mighty River Dee which flows through this scenic valley and is renowned as one of the world's best rivers to fish for salmon. But as famous as it may be, it is not a place for beginners.
Just over a mile away from the river bank, our well-stocked fishing loch provides an idyllic and safe location for those learning to fish and for experienced anglers who are looking for a place to practice their casting.
During lessons we provide all equipment, tackle and a Ghillie (instructor). You'll be taught how to prepare, bait and cast your rod, and also how to land a fish. For those with experience, time spent with our Ghillie is the perfect opportunity to learn new casts or improve your existing skills.
The loch and equipment are also available to hire without the use of a ghillie and we operate a catch and release system for those just looking to get a bit of practice in. Catch and release is £25pp.

Clothing Advice: This activity can be done in the rain, snow and other inclement weather conditions. Please dress appropriately with warm, waterproof clothes when necessary and sensible footwear. Fishing is done from the bank so no specialist clothing is required.
